Education: Undergraduate: Bachelor of Science – Exercise Science, Ithaca College, Ithaca, NY

Residency: Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dayton, OH
Fellowship: Neurotology Swedish Neuroscience Institute, Seattle, WA
Dr. Prueter completed his residency in ear nose and throat and fellowship in neurotology. His primary clinical interest is neurotology; the surgical and medical management for disorders of hearing, balance, and facial movement. He is able to treat disorders of the ear canal, ear drum, middle ear bones, mastoid, inner ear (cochlea and vestibular labyrinth), and nerves traveling to the brainstem.
As a neurotologist, he has a special interest and compassion for those with dizziness. Many patients visit multiple doctors and are unable to find a diagnosis and appropriate treatment. Dr. Prueter noticed a large void and believes that many patients can be helped.
As a virtual dizzy doctor, the majority of diagnosis can be made without an exam or ordering tests, however it is critical that all virtual patients have been evaluated by their family doctor (to rule out various medical conditions) and an ENT (to have an ear exam and hearing test).
Dr. Prueter has a great appreciation for holistic medicine, wellness and generally treats dizziness without medications whenever possible.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He has a strong passion for mountain bike riding, dirt bike riding and road cycling. He tries to spend as much time in nature as possible and strongly believes in the benefits of yoga, meditation and eating well.
